Magpie Funded Kinder Room3 YearsIntroducing the Magpies, our dynamic 3-year-old kinder program designed to inspire curiosity and a love for learning! In this engaging environment, children explore and develop their skills through play-based activities tailored to their individual interests. A feature of the Magpie curriculum is our off-site program at Alphington Park, where children immerse themselves in the natural world. This outdoor exploration promotes physical activity, creativity, and problem-solving skills, while also encouraging a deeper appreciation for the environment. The Magpies particapate in this program three days per week. In addition to nature play, our curriculum emphasises recycling, and gardening, helping children understand the importance of caring for our planet. We incorporate STEM learning to spark curiosity in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, fostering critical thinking from a young age. Furthermore, we celebrate language and diversity, creating an inclusive environment where all children feel valued and understood. Through the Magpie program, children not only prepare for their educational journey ahead but also cultivate a lifelong connection to nature and a strong foundation in sustainability, resilience, and global awareness.
